Hi, it's Karin....sort of obvious...?

I'm not sure what to say but you should know that I have been hitting the backspace button like 3094390 times to make this really formal-ish looking....

My color film was purchased at Walgreens...it sucks...oh well. :)

Hello, my name is really Tatiana, but most people (mother, godmother, late grandmother not included) call me Tati.
I'm from an urban suburb (kinda an oxymoron...) in Northeast Los Angeles called Highland Park. We have a lot of Zapatistas and taco trucks, but unfortunately, gentrification is around the corner.
I'll see everyone tonight, I hope?

I hope this is where we're supposed to post our "contemporary photographer" post...

Here is a link to Yeondoo Jung's work: http://www.yeondoojung.com/. She's a korean photographer that takes childrens' drawings and stages them into photographs, complete with ridiculous crayon colors and bizzare perspective(table legs dismantled and arranged on one plane). She includes the original drawing before each photograph...they look silly at first, until you realize you're looking at childrens' imaginations, dreams, memories. Yeah, that sounds really cheesy, but its actually quite endearing, hope you check it out!
